Backpackin'

Backpacks have been making a steady comeback and I couldn't be more ecstatic!  Being a mom, I need to be hands free because 100% of the time I am balancing holding my baby, her bottle, her toys, her diaper bag and my keys. 

The convenience of throwing on a backpack as you're heading out the door and still looking stylish is a huge win-win in my book.  Here are some of the ways I've style one of my favorite pieces, the Chanel Chevron Backpack from the Spring 2016 Collection!

Transition into Fall

 

My favorite season is almost upon us and I'm starting to transition my wardrobe.  Being from Vancouver, Canada, I definitely favor the cooler climate.  This season I'll definately bring back my favorite staples, but I am also excited to share some of the newer items that I've added to my collection.  One thing I am certain of, this amazing wide brim hat from Lack of Color is going to be in contant rotation.  Leather, plaid, boots and knits, oh my! What are a few of your fave fall trends?

Brand Obsession: Yves Saint Laurent

Ever since Hedi Slimane took over the reins as Creative Director for Yves Saint Laurent, the fashion house has done a complete 360.  Collection after collection, Hedi delivers by injecting a breath of life, youth and practibility into the brand.  From large statement bow collars to supple leather jackets, I am officially obsessed with it all.  Not to mention the Cassandre collection that has easily become one of the most sought out hangbags of the year!  Below are a few of my picks and lust list items.  Trying hard not to shop, but my knees are getting weak for that amazing quilted flap bag...

 

Fashion Fridays: Ox Blood

fall is my absolute favorite season to dress for and it can't come soon enough! the colors, the layers...so many different textures to play with! this year, i am obsessively fixated on the deep, rich, ox blood hue. not veering too far away from black, yet interjecting just the right amount of mellow dramatic color. here are a few of my favorite ox blood pieces for the upcoming season, hope you dolls love them as much as i do! share and let me know what your favorite color or trend is for fall!
